What Are We Doing Here?
Next Gen Clark is for young people who care about what’s happening in Clark County, Indiana, and want to be part of it.
This may be you. Have you thought about the future of your community? Do you want something better for Clark County? Are you paying attention to what’s going on, but not sure where you fit or how to step in? A lot of people are in that position. They care, they’re thinking about it, but there has never been a clear and practical way to get involved.
Next Gen Clark is changing that in our county, and we’re glad you’re here.
Next Gen Clark is the youth arm of the Clark County GOP, focused on bringing young people into real involvement in local politics. Not just discussion, not just opinions, but actual participation. Showing up, helping where it matters, and building something that produces real results over time.
This is not meant to be a political club or a place that just talks about issues. Community matters, conversation matters, but neither can be the end. The goal is to create involvement, ownership, and momentum. A group of people who are not just watching what happens in their community, but taking part in shaping it.
We focus on two things.
First, showing up. This means being present where things are actually happening, building real connections at community events, and producing campaign results that are seen at the ballot box.
Second, building visibility. Through media, conversations, and outreach, we’re making local politics more accessible and more relevant to people who would otherwise stay on the outside.
Those two things work together. What happens in person builds what we share publicly, and what we share publicly brings more people into the work.
Over time, the goal is to build something that lasts. Not just a short-term effort, but a pipeline of people who step in, take responsibility, and continue building something stronger for the community.
If you care about where things are going here, and you want to be part of it, this is the place to start.
